Lately my 9600XL takes about 10 minutes to start. But once it starts it runs
fine and will even shut down it's lights after a predetermined time and wake
up when necessary. I wrote to Microtek and their response was it was time to
look into another scanner because the lamps are failing and they have no
replacements. Something is failing but not the lamps, do you think?
