Athlon problem

Hi, sorry in advance if this is the wrong newsgroup.

Is there any way I can find out the model number of my Athlon XP2000,
with regards to it being a '6' or an '8'? I ask because I'm getting a
new motherboard, and the people who built my pc for me can't find out
what the model number is. Its a Palomino with 266mhz FSB by the way.
