Make sure the number on the chip label says 3200, as in AXDA3200DKV4E. I
presume you are looking on ebay? Just ask the seller what the label says
if he doesn't have pictures of the label.
By the way, my son just sold his XP 3200+ barton on ebay for $197 so
good luck in your quest for a deal. He then bought a socket 939
motherboard, a sempron 3200+ and a power supply for $160 and easily
overclocked it to 2.5 GHz.
If ease of installation is a concern for you and your motherboard bios
supports overclocking then an XP 2500+ can be set to run at 3200+ speeds
by just increasing the front side bus from 166 to 200, often times
without any increase in vcore voltage.
