Default Problem reading files saved to cd in PC - 05-12-2004 , 06:24 PM

Dear all,

Using PC Maclan, we have transferred several folders from a Mac 9.22
to a PC Win XP.

On the PC, recorded the files and folders using Roxio Easy CD Creator
5.x

Reading the cd on the Mac later for verification, we find that in
particular the fonts are not recongnized by the Mac system, as well as
other files of particular extensions.

We would be very glad to receive any hints in order to solve this, or
if it has to do with extension mappings.

Take a look at the thread "File name oddities on PC drives under OS X"; it
sounds like you split your resource and data forks. This would seem to be
the case if only some types of files were broken (like fonts).
