This was easy in Win 98, not in my new XP. Choose option to burn further data files at later date, then the next burn is all that's visible. How is it done, make later additions of file groups at some time after a first burn, and be able to view/copy/execute the first batch of files? |

Since you don't identify your software, the "how" can only be answered generically. To include an earlier volume when writing a later one, simply import the earlier before burning the later. NOTE: You can only import one volume to any subsequent one. Of course, by chaining, you can import 1 into 2, then 2 (including 1) into 3 and so on. But if you forgot to import 1 into 2, when you go to write 3, you cannot bring in both 1 and 2. Mike -- mrichter (AT) cpl (DOT) net http://www.mrichter.com/ |

Nero 5.5.10.56 (latest for 5.*). "Import" ? - Whatever that is (a "saved" ISO?) , it wasn't necessary when running Win 98. Property sheet for the dvd drive gave the volume ID's. Highlighting one enabled exploring its contents. The contents of th first burn *must* be on the cd somewhere. Odd that it is hidden. I never used an ISO file. Could you please explain the what and how of it, and what importing is? Thanks four valuable inputs. |
