Default HP camera card reader - 05-15-2007 , 02:36 AM

I bought an HP multi card reader but it chokes on any of my higher
capacity XD cards. 512m and higher. Anyone know of a workaround?
TIA
Peter

Return it for a different brand? I have a Lexar brand multi card
reader that works fine with 512MB xD card. I got it at Walmart.

I got to agree with Impmon the only workaround is to get a different
reader. XD cards, readers, and cameras have a crap load of
incompatibilities due mostly to the type, plain, M, or H as opposed
strictly to the size of the card.

Almost every Olympus reader works on all type XD cards as shown on page
14 of this guide.

I use the model 200 without any problems on 1GB XD-H
It's small and cheap.
