Do you have to only use Light Scribe disks or will Light Scribe work on other disks? Thanks Glen "Buchetamo" <buchetamo (AT) optusnet (DOT) com.au> wrote in message news:4635fa32$0$22843$afc38c87 (AT) news (DOT) optusnet.com.au... I have a Canon PIXMA IP6000D but I have never gone over 15% contrast & I'm happy with the results, but will certainly try 30% just to check it out. Not long ago I had what I believe was a bad batch of ink cartridges & the labels on the CDs were pathetic, had to clean nozzles constantly... but all of a sudden it's back to normal & labels look just great. Also have a DVD burner with Light Scribe, it does a beautiful job printing labels but... no colors & it takes 20 minutes, yeah 20 minutes, per disc/label!! Try bumping up the contrast setting in your image software before using CDlabel print. I use the Canon PIXMA IP5000 and to get a close match I use a 30% contrast setting. The image looks too dark on the screen but prints just right. Otherwise, it will print out too light and washed out. Rose |
