Default Freeware for burning MP3 songs to a DVD-R to play on a DVD player? - 03-12-2007 , 12:46 PM

Is there freeware that converts a hundred (or whatever) MP3 songs on a DVD
data disc to the DVD format so that I can play the songs (audio only of
course, no video) in my regular DVD player which does not play MP3 or data
discs?

Googling, I can only find payware mp32dvd converters such as
DVDSanta
http://www.allformp3.com/mp3-to-dvd.htm

MP32DVD
http://www.filetrial.com/convert/mp3todvd.html

MP3-DVD Converter
http://www.mp3-converter.biz/mp3-to-...ter-directory/

Blaze MP3-to-DVD converter
http://www.blazemp.com/

Does freeware exist to convert an MP3 data disk to the DVD format (audio
only of course) so that the audio can be played in a standard DVD burner?

In another post the answer to the different question of Torrent-to-AVI and
then AVI-to-DVD was the DVDFlick freeware
http://www.dvdflick.net/

In reading the advertisements for DVDFlick freeware, it looks like this
proggie "might" also work to convert multiple MP3 files to a DVD format to
play on a DVD player
http://www.dvdflick.net/

So, before we go further, I'd like to just ask if anyone here recommends to
convert multiple MP3 files to a single DVD (audio only of course) format,
using DVDFlick freeware?

Do you think DVDFlick is the freeware of choice create a DVD image on disk
from multiple MP3 files (later to be shrunk with DVD Shrink & then burned).

Virtually any burning program.

1. Open your burning program

2. Tell it you want to make an *AUDIO* disc (as opposed to data/video)

3. Use Explorer or the burning program to drag the MP3s into the
burning programs compilation window

4. Burn

It is only slightly more complicated than that. The complication
arises from the fact that MP3s are compressed and the burning program
will be decoding them to wave files and burning those. That can
present a minor problem because the waves are many times the size of
the MP3s and if your CD/DVD is full you will have to use several
CD/DVDs to burn all as audio. Normally, the burning program will tell
you when you are trying to exceed the media capacity which - for audio
discs - is measured in minutes.

1. There is no reason to make an "image"

2. DVD Shrink is not for MP3s...it is used to compress *video* files
so that a movie will fit on one DVD.

I bet Free Easy Burner would do it:
http://freewaregenius.com/2007/02/03...cd-dvd-burner/

(a) it burns mp3s into audio cds (i.e. not as data/mp3s but audio
cds), and (b) it can write to DVDs and DVD-RWa. Let us know if it
works.
