I've been using a Go Video VR4940 combo VHS/DVD Recorder for about3
years. Quite by accident, I discovered that it seems to automatically
bypass copy protection on VHS tapes (and even many - though not all -
DVDs), so I've been using it to make special edits for myself of
certain programs and music related items

now my Go Video VR4940 is on the fritz and this item is no longer
made.
Does anyone have a suggestion for a replacement?
