Default Nero6 copy DVD. - 05-09-2007 , 06:52 PM

Hello there, I am using Nero6 software bundled with my new DVD writer.
Visitors brought Family DVD's. I attempted to use the copy DVD option
in Nero, however there is no prompting as to which disk to insert
first.

What has me concerned is that if the original/source disk is placed
in the drive and copy button is pressed, the message preparing to burn
appears. I realize that reading the source disk is a step in the
burning process, however am gravely concerned that I might damage the
original DVD.

Is this normal terminology or am I doing something incorrectly.

Yes I did search the help file which is only a very basic overview of
the program itself. I also know that I should do some research, but
really don't have much time before the Disks leave with the visitors.

Thank you.

Greg

Unless the original is a RW disk there is no possibility of
damage.......unless your DVD writer physically disintegrates at
speed!! :-)
