BookPC, DVD-ROM, can't play recorded CD

I can play DVD's fine with PowerDVD. I can play original
audio CDs fine with Windows CD player. But when I put in a
CD I've recorded, the drive spins a few times and gives up.
The CD's play fine in all other PC tried. I have recorded
both DAO and TAO, and used 3 different recording packages
all with the same result. I have the latest BIOS.

Any ideas?
