- FSB + Ram = 267MHz

Athlon[PECM]- Thunderbird

but SPD says 2.5 @ 266, or 2.0 at 133, should i ignore this as just
conservative timings?

GeForce2 64M MX 100/200 - overclocked as far as it will go [143 memory and
175 core]

Seagate U series 20410A 20GB, ata 100/33, always says a diff one when its
loading up. [Mode-2 or mode-5]

I dont have a clue if my system can be overclocked, if it can great, pls
let me know what i can do.

But i do want to know should i renew my BIOS [no major problems, except the
occasional blue screen] in order to get consistent udma 100 speeds
there are modified bios' out for that board, i think one is called
something like honey x or something, supposedly adjusted to allow
better overclocking? anyone else?

Try here for reliable OC BIOSes (and the official ones too!)

Google for the HoneyX
or Cheepoman bios.

I prefer the HoneyX, myself.

Not a very overclock friendly board (I had one)
Take a look at http://pub140.ezboard.com/fk7s5amotherboardforumfrm13
There is a special bios called honyx which allows extra settings but remeber
that flashing the bios
especially with non official bios could render the board useless but hey if
you like living dangerously
go for it.

I am using the latest HoneyX BIOS and it is working better than of the
official ECS BIOS' I've ever used. It allows some OC'ing settings that may
work for you.

In order to OC your mobo you must flash your BIOS and you will be able to
set different FSB clock frequencies. But I can't remember the name of that
BIOS...sorry

Go to the ECS newsgroup: alt.comp.periphs.mainboard.elitegroup. There are
special BIOS's that allow for adjustment of the FSB. Problem is, on the K7s5a
the FSB is locked into the memory bus speed. The K7s5a was a great board -- it
would've been better if it had adjustments for multiplier and Vcore though.
Because of these limitations it's not a good overclocking board.
