Hi all, Have installed my new a64 4400 + stock 2.2ghz @ 1.4v have now slowly clocked up to: 260 x 10 = 2600mhz - HTT x 4 ram 2.5-4-4-8 Everything (almost!) is running stable but a couple of applications do not start up such as sisandra lite and reg cleaner - any ideas? I'm using xp pro sp2 - did not reinstall since new cpu installed tia all |

Can you pls. provide a bit more detail about how to ensure Windows XP is properly set-up for a X2 CPU. My PC came pre-installed with Windows so it would be nice to check if the retailer used the correct hard-disk image file for X2 CPU's, instead of a generic one for all AMD 64 bit processors. (As a rough check, I've just run Task Manager - it shows two CPU load graphs, but they are very similar (not quite identical, but almost so)). I just read somewhere that some applicastions don't run properly on dual core unless they are set to run with affinity for one processor. Don't know if this is done in bios though.
