Default Unrequested Print Screen - 01-16-2005 , 01:29 PM

Normally I use this PC with Win 98, but on occasions I boot it up
using plain MS-DOS. On these occassions it is quite common for the
printer to suddenly turn on and print the screen as if I pressed the
Print Screen key, which I did not. As far as I can tell, this usually
happens when the active software expects and receives keyboard input.
What can I do to stop this from happening?

I hope that the following system data will be useful in offering an
answer:

733 megahertz Intel Pentium III
VIA Technologies, Inc. VT82C693ABX
Board: Legend QDI Advance-9 V1.XX
BIOS: Award Software International, Inc. 4.51 PG 07/27/2000

Sounds like a stuck Print Screen key. Have you tried another keyboard?
BTW, I typed the previous line (in Win9se) while holding down the
Print Screen key.
