Hello all,
Im not sure this is in the right discussion if someone could direct me
to the right place that'd be great.
Okay here it goes I have here a toshiba laptop that was left with me
assuming I could fix it. I do computer work on the side(before anyone
starts with the bull crap Im A+ certified, and have several other
certs so I can actually do the work) anyway I got the laptop to boot,
it loads to windows no probelm and when loaded it works. the probelmIm
having is
#1. I cannot get the machine to ad the cd-rom and I cannot get into
the bios. it has a password. I have tried everything the battery
method(there is no battery that I can find on the board or in the case
for that matter. Ive tried the toshiba key disk haha thats funny I get
get the damn thing to boot off a cd-rom how could it boot a floppy?.
it gives me two choices +hardrive +network it will not boot from an
usb drive or 1394 drive if I take out the harddrive it tries to net
boot.
Im about ready to send this pile of S(#&#^&# right back to the
&@*@(@)@ who created it. plus to enrage me a bit more the toshiba
bastards want me to pay them $35 dollars to support there machine how
is that fare?
if anyone could offer me some help?
