Hello! I have a Dell Latitude XP 475. This fellow is one of the models who came out just as the company was switching to what would become the beginning of Windows as as the whole OS. Instead it normally came with DOS6.22 and Windows 3.11. (I say normally because right now he's been temporarily reconfigured to do something else.) I am now discovering that he needs more memory to work effectively. Would anyone remember the style of memory devices that design used? I believe I can bring it up to about 16MB or even 32MB if the style allows it. I'll be checking with Dell of course but I would be interested in a second opinion here. -- Gregg gregg dot drwho8 atsign gmail dot com -- "This signature is currently on K7 watching the fight between the Klingons and the Enterprise crew. The score is Enterprise crew 12, and Klingons 0 at the moment." It needs fast page mode dimms. 2 16MB 80 ns may be added for a total of 36 |
