PC lockup (usually when idol)

Hello,
My PC locks up about once every 2 weeks. It never locks up when I am
working on it, but I'll come into my office in the AM, and it will be
locked.
Doesn't respond to mouse or keystrokes.
I have it on all the time. I have run a RAM diagnostic utility from
Microsoft and
RAM checks out OK.
Things I have considered :
Overheating? (since I have it on all the time)

Video Card? When it locks up, whatever screen save I'm using is
usually
distorted.

Any advice appreciated!

I'll try that...I have changed screen savers as a test, but have not
tried it without a SS.
BTW, I'm not really (that) illiterate (idol vs. idle).

On the hardware side: Power bronwnouts?
