Default PC Powering off automatically - 10-15-2006 , 12:40 PM

When I first switch on my PC in the morning, it runs find for about 20
minutes and then powers off in a blink of an eye - total "OFF" - no
controlled shutdown. If I then switch the power switch off for ten
seconds, then back on and then hit the "on" button the PC powers up and
works continually until I choose to shut it down.

What are the first things I should be looking for here? I already installed
Linux's lmsensors and am seeing no outrageous over heating or anything.

Could it be SW related?

Check PSU fan running OK, test with another PSU.
Mike.

Unlikely. Most likely a problem with the PSU. Second candidate is the
mainboard, but rather unlikely.
