Thanks everyone. Some interesting material for debate there so what
I've done is:
1) Returned the card as unfit for its purpose
2) Stacked away all my redundant mobos for another day!
If anyone can suggest an alternative brand of diagnostic card that has
greater regard from its users I'd be grateful
