Hey, all.
I recently bought an LG GSA-4167B CD/DVD burner.
I'm reading conflicting reports of whether this unit supports
Lightscribe.
Does anyone know for certain one way or another??
Thanks!!

We have a bunch of dvd burners, pioneer, nec, lg, asus. Last week I tried a
lightscribe disk in them. Every one of them gave the exact symptom that
occurs when you put in any other type of cd upside down. They got busy
doing their thing, blinking their light, causeing the screen to freeze at
"my computer" and then spit out the disk which thawed out the display.
Put in a regular CD upside down, if it chokes on it then your burner
probably wont handle lightscribe.
You might look around some of those crackz and pornz sites and see if they
are offering free firmware upgrades to turn old burners into new
lightscribes ;-)
