Default 19" Widescreen LCD Text issue - 04-14-2007 , 08:11 PM

I have a 19" LCD widescreen and the problem I am having, is that
whenever the resolution is at anything EXCEPT 1440x900, the text is
nearly unreadable. I am not quite sure how to explain it, almost as
if the letters are deformed. This is not a problem when I am running
normal apps in XP, as my resolution stays on 1440x900, however when I
do something that tries to change the resolution (ie, a game), the
text deforms.

Any ideas why this is happening, and/or how to resolve it?

Thanks,
Nickolas

a LCD always works properly when set to it's correct resolution - or
something that divides exactly into it.
if not you get the effect you describe - although whether it's unreadable is
a matter of opinion/ eyes.
