You need a video modulator with VGA input. This takes VGA output and creates a modulated video signal that suits the video pin on the monitor. There's an example here: https://store.mgram.com.au/pdfs/PDS3102.PDF -- Jeff Richards MS MVP W95/W98 "marcleman" <nomail (AT) mail (DOT) com> wrote in message news:3INjb.48$Rc4.162460 (AT) newsfep1-win (DOT) server.ntli.net... May I first apologise for cross posting, I wasn't sure where to post my question. __________________________________________________ ___________________ I have a B&W reversing camera and monitor on a specialist vehicle which I would like to connect up to my laptop to display the output from the laptop on the B&W monitor (when running GPS software, as the B&W monitor is on the dashboard and pc under the seat). The output from the laptop is the standard 15pin 'D' socket, as on all pc's. The B&W monitor has an input socket similar to a PS2 (like on a mouse/keyboard) of which the 4 pins are marked +ve 12v dc -ve Video NC Does anyone know how I can interface the above (components like plugs wires are not a problem)? Would I need a special interfacing unit, or would it be possible to use various pins connections? __________________________________________________ ___________________ Any help will be appreciated, and thanks for any replies. |
