Default Samsung SyncMaster 930B problem- fuzzy - 11-02-2006 , 05:59 PM

I just purchased a Samsung SyncMaster 930B 19 flat screen monitor for
my computer. It was a good deal, maybe too good. When I hooked it up
through the VGA, the screen seems rather fuzzy. I don't know how to
explain it. I tried the auto feature and doesn't work to clear up the
problem. I am not sure if it is better through the digital output or
the VGA. Anyone have any experience with this? It is brand new...

I'm presuming the 930B is an LCD monitor.

First and foremost...
Have you set your screen resolution to match the native resolution of
the 930B? (Probably 1280 x 1024) LCDs, unlike CRTs, are fixed pixel
devices. Any difference between the screen resolution and the output
of the video card *will* require some degree of remapping. In most
cases
this will cause noticable degradation in the output quality.
