ati x1600 pro 256mb or nx6600gt 256 mb?

Hey , I have an ati x300 SE hyper memory 128 mb
witch card is best for gaming , graphics etc ?
and how much better ?
I can get the 1600 pro for 145€ , don't know how much the 6600gt is
costing I think a little bit more about: 160 €

I personally think I'd go with the X1600PRO. The reason for this is
that it is newer than the 6600GT, it has 4 more pixel pipelines, which
will allow for better graphics, the gpu clock speed is the same, the
memory is a little slower, but it has twice as much as the 6600GT.
This shouldn't make too much of a difference, so the main selling point
for me is that it has more pixel pipelines. If you can afford though,
why not look into the X1600XT, it has a much higher gpu clock speed,
and the memory is much faster than the 6600GT for just a little more
than what you'd pay for a 6600GT, but I think it'd be worth it. Or look
into the just released NVIDIA 7600GT, this is looking pretty nice for
less than $200USD. Not sure what that converts into in euros.

what are pixel pipelines doing to the graphics , more texture or more
detail ?tha nvidia 7600gt has 12 of them , and the x1600 has 4 of
them. I don't know much about it . and what is doing the memory
bandwith ? I see that the x1600pro has 12.8 GB/s and the x1600xt has
22.4 GB/s and the 7600 gt also has 22.4 GB /s
