adjusting a new monitor

I just got a DCL9C monitor and everything is working just fine except
the print that shows up on my screen. It isn't showing the small
print correctly. The large print is just fine. I am new to computers
so any help you can give me will be greatly appreciated.

Could you be a little more specific about what "isn't showing
the small print correctly" means?
