Hi, I have a problem with my monitor, a Viewsonic VX900 LCD. Here's what happened. There was a storm the other night and it caused the power to flicker. When the computer came back on, the monitor screen was all white. When I tried to press any of the control buttons, the message read "power button locked" or "OSB locked". I hooked up another monitor to make sure that it wasn't a hard drive issue, and it wasn't. I tried reloading the Viewsonic software. Again, no luck. Any advice? I've never heard of monitors getting fried during a storm. Is that what happened? Thanks. (p.s. -- I sent Viewsonic a message 24 hours ago, and I'm still waiting for the response. |
