Default LCD and Gaming FPS - 01-27-2006 , 12:30 PM

Alright, here are my specs:
P4 3.0
Ati x850 pro
2gig 400mhz DDR
Gigabyte Mobo: 8lK-1100
Audigy 2 zs
Samsung Syncmaster 172w ( has a response time of 25ms)
So my problem is the FPS when I'm playing games. I don't see too much
ghosting or any other visible defects however the graphics displayed
from the monitor really blows. The motions of characters are choppy
and movements are jerky. I got the latest drivers and bios and still
like that. So my question was will a LCD monitor with a 25ms be the
cause? Can the monitor affect FPS that much. By the way on the
Counterstrike:source Video Stress test I get a avg. FPS of 116fps
with the recommended setting; vsync off. However when I play the
game, like I said, the movements are jerky. Thanks in advance.
