Brother HL-5140 laser printer; OPINIONS? -

Hello friends,
I am thinking of buying the Brother HL-5140 laser, for personal use at
home, mainly for printing resumes and project proposals. My main
considerations for choosing this printer are:
1) Good print quality (2400x600 dpi; translates to approx. 1200 dpi
overall?), hopefully for graphics too. Most of my documents are Adobe
PageMaker docs, with extensive graphics and formatting.
2) Low per-page costs, works out to about 1.4 cents/page (with 5%
coverage, etc.). Most other lasers work out to about 2-2.5 cents per
page. Of course, the cost of drum replacement has not been factored
in.
I have no idea how reliable this printer is. I have read that HL-1440
is highly rated, but I am going with this one due to its higher print
resolution.
Would like some comments on some of the points above and any other
pros and cons that one might have experienced.
Also, any sources for obtaining GOOD remanufactured cartridges for
this printer and approx. prices?
Thanks in advance.
