Default cannot install printer on NT 4.0 - 11-01-2004 , 01:09 PM

Good day,

I am having an issue where i cannot seem to be able to install an HP
printer ( hp2250) locally on a NT 4.0 workstation. I have downloaded
the proper drivers from the HP site but I still get that geburish
nonsense when I try to print a test page.
Does anyone have a suggestion on what i should try next?

Thank you

Sounds like your "talking to the printing" and its a driver issue.
Make sure your not printing with a post script driver to a PCL only
printer. I would suggest trying the generic/text driver and see if it
will print. Then you know your dealing with a driver issue and not a
hardware problem.
