I'm looking for product purchase advice for UPS battery backup. We
need to purchase UPS for use upon two water towers. The units are
located within NEMA enclosures without temperature control. We are
located near Cleveland, Ohio and experience cold winters. The towers
can also get fairly hot in summer. The power requirements are low;
the devices pull 12 volts.

I e-mailed APC requesting a product recommendation. They recommended
none of their products stating that they their UPS were designed for
operation environments greater than 32 degrees F.

Is there a line of UPS made for our cold weather use?
