I have an asus a7v8x-x motherboard, and for no apparantly no reason it
now won't start up. it gets to the point where it check for hard
drives and cd drives, and then stops. the writing at the bottom of the
startup screen disappears and it just hangs there. I left it like this
for an hour or so to see if it would change, but to no avail. any help
would be much appreciated? i'm guessing its my motherboard thats
causing this problem. please help.

Sorry that this isn't technically about peripherals, but for some
reason I'm not able to post to comp.hardware, where this topic is far
