Default acs45.2 speaker wont turn on... - 12-04-2005 , 11:33 AM

Hello-
One day, my Altec Lansing ACS 45.2 speakers wouldn't turn on. I read
somewhere that this could be due to a blown fuse, and knowing my old
house, this very well could have been the case..

However, I'm not sure where this fuse is or how to replace it.

There are 6 screws on the bottom of the subwoofer.. Could anyone point
me in the right direction here?

thanks!

ok - so, i unscrewed the 6 screws, and tried to open it, but the right
side, where no screws were, wouldn't budge. almost as if it was glued
down or something.

anyone with any experience here??

I have seen this kind of thing lots of times. There are two more screws on
the right hand side, find them and take them out. It should come apart
then.
