HP D135 Printer on WIN2000 SP4 -

I have upgraded my system to WIN2000 SP4 and have problems with my HP
D135. I ordered the latest CD of drivers from HP Version 3.22 and
installed them. When I do, when I get to the FAX installation and
request a test page, nothing prints. If I bring up the status menu, I
see the printer is disconnected. Sometimes I can get a few lines
printed, but most of the times I cann't print anything. I get error
messages such as "There was an error when printing the document
"outbind ://......" to DOT4_001. Do you want to retry or cancel the
job?". I cann't scann - when I click on scanning, nothing happens. I
then installed the Corporate Drivers from the HP web site. With these
drivers, I can print, but these drivers do not support scanning. So I
know that the printer is working. I have another boot section with
WIN98SE. When I install the Version 3.22 CD, everything works fine
including scanning. Therefore, I do not think it is the machine. One
more piece of info: Along with the upgrade to WIN2000 SP4, I also
replaced the motherboard from an 1800 AMP to 2.4 Intel. The new board
has USB2 while the older board had only USB1.1.
Any suggestions - Help?
