TFT Monitors - 12-18-2003 , 09:51 AM

I wil be buying a new monitor soon for my pc, can anyone please advise
if TFT monitors are worth the extra expense compared to old style CRT
monitors ?. I would require to be able to view CAD drawings clearly.
