Default Toshiba Satelite A35-S159 Laptop - Keyboard Not Working - 06-06-2005 , 09:29 PM

Hello,

I'm not sure if this is the correct newsgroup. sorry if I'm mistaken.

A friend of mine has a Toshiba Satelite A35-S159 Laptop (running
Windows XP) and the keyboard is not working. There used to be an
external wireless keyboard attached to it. Unfortunately, we do not
have the wireless keyboard, nor do we know what type it was.

Is there a way to get the laptop's keyboard to work? Is there a bios
setting that we could set? Any other suggestions?

If all else fails, I guess we could use the USB port and plug in a
keyboard that way.

Thanks,
j.t.w

Did it access a network? You could pop it onto a network & remote
administer the keyboard setup.

Does it have a PS2 port?

Can you get into the bios at boot time?
