Mitsubishi HL6935

I have come by this monitor and would like to know how do I operate
the control panel in the right sideplate of the monitor. The
controls are self-explanatory in themselves, but the entry-button is
a bit of a mystery. Also, when I change resolution from
1290x960x16bit to 1024x768x16bit, the picture shifts an inch or so
to the right. How can I prevent this?
