I was given a nice HP 2550L color laser printer because it stopped working.
The user had recently replaced the toner carts and it started to show all 4
toner LEDS as always on. The Imaging drum LED is always flashing.
It never prints anything from a computer.
Rarely it will print a clean HP Welcome page when it is turned on. Once it
printed a clean Self Test page.
The print count is 7355. This machine has more life in it than that.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,

This light pattern is undocumented.
Perform a Cold Reset as follows.
1. Turn the printer OFF
2. Press and HOLD down the GO button
3. Power on the printer (still holding the GO button)
4.Release the GO button after 10 seconds and less than 20 seconds
The Attention light should have come on
Watch the lights cycle
Power off and on again and report what lights are now on after the printer
finishes initialising, in particular which are flashing and which are solid and
include all lights on the control panel.
