Hello,

when printing photos on my HP Color LaserJet 3600N, they are all much too
dark.
Printing text or cliparts is fine, only printing photos is so dark, that it
is really hard to see details in the pictures.

Is there anyway to configure it to print as I would expect it?

Make sure that the printer paper selection and other settings are for Photo
printing. It is also possible that an updated driver is needed.
Most of the color laser printers are by default optimized for text and
graphics, not photos.
Poking around in the printer driver options may reveal a window that allows
you to adjust for a lighter printing photo.
It's been a couple of years since I used this model, so I don't remember all
the gory details.
If you are using drivers that came with windows, it's quite possible that
they are stripped down from the full drivers from the HP website.
