I accidentally left my printer door open last night. (Epson Stylus Color 600) We had a stormy night (and my windows were open).. the winds blew dirt from my potted plants all over, and most importantly, into my printer!!! what can I do to clean it? I don't want to make things worse. Help! Thanks, Jessica |

OK, now we have a type ofprinterto start with. The SC600 isn't too difficult to open. It only has four screws to remove to get the top shell off. There are two screws at the base of two long tubes on either side of the paper chute at the rear. The other two screws are visible when you open the "lid" of theprinterand they are to either side of the front ledge that is revealed upon opening the lid. Then lift the top portion of theprintercase off theprinteravoiding the paper chute as you pull up and slightly toward the rear. After that use the same basic procedure as mentioned in my previous posting. Don't force anything while trying to remove the top. If it doesn't come off easily, something isn't correct, ask more questions. Art jessica.ray... (AT) gmail (DOT) com wrote: I accidentally left myprinterdoor open last night.
