I use the ip5000 it's a suburb reliable printer and very economical with the inks, fast and quiet, the ip5200 is the newer replacement Davy We have used the ip5200R for about 6 months now. We are printing 20 to 50 A4 sheets om plain paper a day. And a few photos from time to time. Very good printer, very fast and silent. Good photo quality but dont use HP paper. It gets blurred in the black areas. Looks as if the ink does not penetrate the paper. We use it in a Wireless network connecting to a Linksys BEFW11S4 router and allthough this router is only 11Mb it is still fast. Speed limitation is not the network but my PC I think , because it is the same printing speed as when I use USB 2.0 The only problem we have had, is using DHCP where the IP addresses changes from time to time so I have found that a manual IP adress outside the DHCP automatic adress range is a stable solution. !! The ink is VERY EXPENSIVE though.!! So I refill using the same Inktec ink as for the ip5000. it would be nice to know what ink you are buying from your relabeler. |

The printer gives some warnings when the cartridge is empty. We just ignore/accept that and check the inklevel once a week. When a cartridge is below half full, I refill. Niels |
