Default Run a printer wirelessly? - 03-18-2007 , 05:29 PM

What options, if any, are there for running a printer wirelessly over
a LAN? I have a Linksys WRG54G wireless broadband router. Is there
some way I can use this to provide communication between the printer
and the PC? A plug-in USB wireless network card?

Hi Tony,

Sounded a great idea, until I read the (terrible) reviews! Those print
servers seem like a PITA! And the epson is quite a rare printer to so
unless someone here tells me yes they have it running ok, I'm going to
have to run an ethernet or something.

Hi,
I have an older HP AIO Photosmart 2575 on DPR-1260. No problem printing
or scanning. If your need is only printing, there won't be any issue
with most printers. My home network consists of two PC notebooks, one
Power Book, two desk tops on wireless rounter. All shares one printer
via DPR-1260.

I use a Linksys Wireless-G print server on my home network to run an HP
Laserjet 1320. The server connects to the USB port on the printer.
