Yes, I guessed wrong some years ago and bought an Epson Expression 800.

It's a great scanner, but...

MacOS X drivers didn't show up for a long time. As MacOS X evolved, the
drivers were, umm, late. I posted about on this group about a case in
which they apparently withheld drivers for upwards of a year. Why?

Now not only are there no drivers for 10.3.x, there are _no_ MacOS X drivers
at all on the support site.

It's pretty clear...
