No. Normally it contains the measured data equivalent of a real target
and is made by the target producer. Agfa gives them sometimes the
extension .it8, Kodak .q60, Corel .ref, Fuji .lab and Wolf Faust simply
..txt

Ed's use for creating synthetic targets is only an elegant way to get a
printable target image together with the corresponding data and was not
intended originally.
