I'm getting better at Vuescan. A lot of things that I thought wasn't
possible can be done now. But I still have two things I hope someone
knows how to fix.

First, when using Vuescan 8.11 and scanner falls into sleep mode,
clicking preview would actually hang the Vuescan program. So I've been
using Espon Scan v2.32a (the latest) to wake up the scanner first if I
haven't used the scanner for a while. This happens with the last
version of Vuescan too.

Second. It looks Vuescan can only do raw file creation at the listed
resolution of 400, or 800 dpi. A customized resolution at 300 would
lead to 400 dpi, 600 would lead to 800 dpi for the produced image. Is
that just the way it is?
