Default Smart Array 5i broken ... what can I use instead of ?? - 04-26-2007 , 03:52 PM

The RAID controller on my Compaq ProLiant ML370 server doesn't work.
There is no message from the controller at boot time (like no RAID
controller installed). The disks don't do the spinup.

I have a 5 disks array created with that controller and I have to read
my files on those disks.

What controller or software configuration can I use that will be able to
read the array made with
my controller?

Thanks,
Alex.

Get another controller from Compaq. If you are lucky, it will all work
OK, other wise restore from your backup onto the system when fixed.

Mike.
