My Logitech QuickCam Ultra Vision causes my PC to reboot when i try to take
still photos larger than vga (640x480 pixels) allthough the cam should be
able to take pictures in 760x720, 1280x960, 1600x1200, 2048x1536 and
2304x1728.

When i choose a resolution higher than 640x480, the Quickcapture preview
appears either completely black or as a distorted pattern.

I use a fresh installed Win XP with service pack 2.

Logitech Quickcam software ver. 10.5.1.2029 (the newest).

Cam connected to USB2 (enhanced) port.

Any suggestions welcome.
